Black Dog III

We are delighted to announce that Black Dog III has been competing in the 2017 COGS Series under the PNYC flag.  This combines long distance in-shore and off-shore races.  Formerly at RCYC and HRSC, we are delighted to say that the team are leading the series. Black Dog has won all three of the COGS races that they have competed in so far.

Results:
1st Place Falmouth Roscoff – circa 106 miles
1st Place Gull Rock Manacles – circa 40 miles
1st Place Falmouth Eddystone Rock – circa 70 miles

Skippered by Stuart Sawyer (Mawnan Smith), Black Dog is a J122 with a crew of 8-10, all of whom come from the local area.   Due to her size Black Dog will not quite get along side PNYC but we look forward to welcoming the team at The Club.

Their next big challenge will be the L’Aber Wrac’h Race on Friday 28th June.  Fingers crossed.  Follow the L’Aber Wrac’h race at
