Port Navas Regatta

At The Oyster Quay and Port Navas Yacht Club.

Starts 3pm with the first race, The Beattie School Cup – a 4 part relay race between Constantine and Mawnan Smith Primary Schools. Mawnan 1-0 up.

A full range of rowing events, kayaking, paddle boarding and swimming.  Kids races and games in the field next to The Oyster Quay. “Out Of The Sea” Fancy Dress competition.  PNYC Fish Burgers, Slice Pizza Van and our own cake and tea stand. A bar. A range of live music including collective “singing” and dancing after Prize Giving (around 7.30pm).

Preparations are in full swing. VOLUNTEERS are needed to:

• Donate cakes and savouries for the tea stall – this is a major fund raiser for The Regatta – contact Julie Clarke on 07850 947126
• Run games in the field for an hour – contact Tom at admin@pnyc.co.uk
• Do an hour’s tidy up of rubbish on site – contact Tom above
