Knees up?
Not, sadly, a bit of a bop on the wharf, but rather where Nigel will find himself this week! He is due to go into hospital on Friday morning for his first knee replacement operation. I am sure you will all join me in wishing him well for the op and as comfortable and speedy a recovery as possible. He will be out of the frame for about six to eight weeks, but is threatening to come and plonk himself at the end of the bar in order to direct operations! Fat chance of that happening if Helen is in charge!
Thursday’s temptation this week will be a sweet potato and smoked haddock curry – Kerala style with a rich coconut sauce. Please book in the normal way!
The menu has been tweaked a little with a new plaice dish using pequillo peppers and artichokes (Jerusalem) replacing the hake. I am looking for a new lamb dish as well so watch this space!
Plenty of room all weekend, so do pop down if you can…..no snow, just rain to complain about!
