SUMMER HAS STARTED AT PNYC

Or at least the Summer Season has started, although as I write the sun is shinning, the sky is bright blue and a pair of swans are making their nest on the bank opposite the club.

Thank you to all those who have provided payment and paperwork for the upcoming Summer Season – 1st April to 31st October. Clap on the back for you folks.

Not far behind, thanks to all those who have provided payment but have yet to provide paperwork. Please can you send this through by email to admin@pnyc.co.uk asap as we need this as part of our insurance. The form is on the website – http://pnyc.co.uk/moorings/

And please could anyone who has not paid yet, please do so asap. We ask for payment no later than the end of Feb and earlier payment is much appreciated as we have to pay The Duchy for rent, pay the insurance and pay for servicing the moorings early in the New Year. Moving house and working on our new home has led to me being a bit slow in chasing some of you this year!

Thanks to all those who have stayed with us during The Winter Season. We had no damage to any boats, even during Storm Goretti. Those wanting a Winter Berth next season are welcome to pencil that in now – email Tom admin@pnyc.co.uk – with no commitment until September. We can always offer spaces on the pontoon (up to 22ft) and on the beach (on the beach up to 36 ft). The prices are on the website – http://pnyc.co.uk/moorings/

The beach has one yacht on it (Martha, Nancy and Finn’s) but that will be off end of Saturday. I have put out a number of beach lines already and 1-5 and 14-27 are now ready for boats. If you are between 6-14 and want to have the boat down at the club do just drop me a line and I will put you on the pontoon until the beach is ready tomorrow. There is always this juggling period between Winter boats leaving and Summer boats arriving so please bear with us. You will always have a place to put your boat during the change over. Promise.
